Please refer to the installation precautions for the explosion-proof monitoring system here
2024-4-10 View:
Explosion proof cameras are a cross product of the explosion-proof industry and the monitoring industry, and their installation is meticulous.
Some special industries such as petroleum, chemical, natural gas, and other industrial enterprises may leak and spill various flammable and explosive gases, liquids, dust, and fibers in various processes of experimentation, production, processing, transportation, and storage, which are prone to explosions and fires, causing significant losses to the country and people.
Horizontal installation makes it easy to see some details clearly;
There are very few installations that use a top-down view, and there is also a high requirement for the light adaptability of explosion-proof cameras.
It is prohibited to fill any substance in the cavity to lose its explosion-proof performance;
The oil stains on the rubber sealing ring should be wiped clean to prevent aging and deterioration.

01. Installation address
On the premise of meeting installation requirements, it is best to avoid places with complex lighting positions and avoid objects in the video that absorb infrared light, such as completely black objects and water, to avoid affecting the monitoring image. In addition, attention should also be paid to moisture-proof, dust-proof, anti-corrosion, lightning protection, and avoiding damp, dusty, high temperature or extremely cold, strong radiation and other places.
02. Installation angle
The overhead angle is the most commonly used for explosion-proof cameras, which is concealed and has good macroscopic observation effects;Horizontal installation makes it easy to see some details clearly;
There are very few installations that use a top-down view, and there is also a high requirement for the light adaptability of explosion-proof cameras.
03. Reasonable wiring
Based on the original network foundation, choose appropriate wiring, do not let signal lines and high-power wires transmit in the same direction, and do not place the two in the same transmission line conduit. It is best to use dark lines. If there is no way to use open lines, it is necessary to take good physical protection measures for the lines.
04. Sealing the inlet
The inlet of explosion-proof cameras must be sealed with rubber sealing rings, and it is prohibited to use other methods such as filling sealing adhesive, asbestos rope, etc. to replace it;It is prohibited to fill any substance in the cavity to lose its explosion-proof performance;
The oil stains on the rubber sealing ring should be wiped clean to prevent aging and deterioration.
05. It is strictly prohibited to modify the camera
It is strictly prohibited to arbitrarily modify the structure, components, and internal wiring of explosion-proof cameras. The fastening bolts must not be arbitrarily replaced or missing. The excess elastic sealing gasket and metal gasket of the inlet and outlet must be kept in the factory sealed state, and the compression nut should be tightened to seal the inlet.
06. Daily maintenance
When encountering adverse weather, it is necessary to check the lightning protection effect of the explosion-proof camera in advance; Pay attention to moisture and dust prevention in daily life, and wipe regularly; When checking, it is advisable to avoid opening the explosion-proof camera casing as much as possible. If it is necessary to open it, the power should be cut off first. If the explosion-proof shell is opened, the explosion-proof surface should be properly protected and not damaged. During maintenance, the explosion-proof surface should be placed upwards and not directly in contact with the ground.
